Its uniqueness is attached to its well famous witch craft activities that it has carried for many years .Kihasa village has a record of a number of one hundred eighty (180) witch doctors commonly known as Traditional Healers. The witch craft activities of this area is the back bone of the village name –‘Kihasa” which literally means Big Drum’s sound; a sound which is played during the cultural rituals and is believed to initiate the power of cultural gods. Offering land or even selling your land to church in Kihasa village is was considered as a big “omen’ the life of Kihasa community members over years has been in bondage of these witch craft activities. They have for long lived a poor life due to the money, animals and other resources they take to the witch doctors for witch craft operations.

More challenging is, kihasa community got a mindset that no church can be formed in this community .Witch doctors usually team to fight gospel brought in this area through their annual ritual festivals.

HERE IS SOMETHING UNIQUE ABOUT WALKING WITNESS.

Back Ground:

Much as the area has been dominated by witch craft operations, church of Christ has for long prayed for this village to receive Full Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ .Three (3) months ago, the chairperson Local council one received a team of pastors to welcome the Full Gospel church in his village .The good News is, the Chairperson allowed them to be praying in his office.

THE MYTH IS BROKEN: – A church without walls is built at Kihasa village.

Walking witness through Adopt a village program supervised by Rwenzori Full Gospel Church cooperative society has broken the Myth in Kihasa village by building a church without walls. This followed after a successful fundraising by church members to buy the church land where a church without walls has been built.

SUCCESS STORY AFTER THE CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS BUILDING:

The native doctors/witch doctors/Traditional healers in kihasa have tried fighting this church .This was evidenced through their demonic practices aiming at failing God’s work with their original intentions of keeping kihasa community into captivity of demonic/witchcraft activities. The good News is; God’s power has been abundant on this church and no demonic act has been successful through these demonic attempts.

After the church is built, people have been brought to this church being possessed by demons. Demon possession in Kihasa village is a very serious issue. This is backed by the nature of the area as explained above.

A touching scenario is a young girl was also possessed by demons and brought to this church by the mother .Her and the Mother belong to another denomination called Catholic. The mother got faith that the Lady will be healed in this Full Gospel church and the lord is good .Through strong payers, these demons were cast out.

COMMUNITY FEED BACK:

As the community has been waiting for the collapse of this church without walls due to mindset, a lot of success stories are occurring .Minus being told, people are observing healing in this church. They are gaining more confidence in this church and by God’s power, the rest of community members will start worshipping the true God

<!-- /wp:paragraph
