RWABIHUNGA VILLAGE, KAHOKYA SUBCOUNTY, KASESE DISTRICT
Sponsored by Bethel Family Fellowship – Lafayette, TN
Rwabihungu village has over two hundred eighty (280) households but the full gospel Church has a total membership of 48 Christians in number from 11 households this church was established by her mother church KAHOKYA after preaching to a family that accepted Christ and offered land freely for church establishment.
For some good time, the church did not flourish in this area faster. In fact most of the people that had converted went back to their former religions after seeing no progress, the church remained with only 6 believers out of 48
Touching story
After the collapse of the temporary church structure they resorted to borrowing a tarpaulin (tent) from the unconverted neighbor. Our God is faithful. during Sunday church service the owner came and removed his tarpaulin and took it, while people were still un conscious, they received glad tidings from the full gospel coop that Rwabihungu has been selected to benefit and be constructed a church without walls under the “adopt a village” program. Rwabihungu has become a visible step for God’s glory.
The church has continued to record an increase in the church congregation. The eight (8) empowerment piggery project will improve the wellbeing of the believers and non-believers of the community
