The gospel mission at Kighenge continued to be challenging even to the final stage of construction of a church without walls.
After beginning the work at Kighenge, there came resistance from the government particularly the sub county chief for Kitabu sub county .He demolished the initial church building claiming that there are no formal documents for building this church. Later, after further negotiations and other expenses being incurred, the church without walls was constructed at Kighenge.
